Welcome
My name is Heather Hans, and I’m an instructional designer and an artist. I’ve worked in higher education since 2013 in roles centering around instructional design, instructional technology, user experience, and teaching and training. I received a BA from Wake Forest University in fine art and art history, and I specialized in painting, sculpture, and American Art.
After college, I worked in journalism for five years as an editor and writer, and then I went back to school at UNC-Greensboro to get my Masters in Library and Information Studies, through which I learned a wide range of skills from media and web design to academic research, instructional design, and instructional technology.
I love to paint, and I’m a member artist of the Alamance Artisans guild. Please check out some of my work on this site as well as on Etsy!
